Bolton face Blackpool in Sky Bet League One on Monday, live on Sky Sports Football.
New signing Joseph Dodoo can make his debut in their League One clash with Blackpool for Bolton. The striker, who spent last season on loan at Blackpool, was a free agent after his deal with Rangers expired and hes signed a deal until the end of the season.
Daryl Murphy suffered no response so might be contained again and made his debut against Portsmouth last weekend after recovering from a calf injury. Jake Wright (hamstring) and Chris OGrady (knee) will be assessed.
Blackpool are waiting to see if Sullay Kaikai, Nathan Delfouneso along with Joe Nuttall will be matched. All three are being monitored, and boss Simon Grayson is expecting the match being placed back into Monday could allow at least one of the trio to be included.
The Seasiders will probably be. The team did put in a request for the midfielder to join his nation but it was turned down.
The outcomes of winless Bolton are starting to pick up beneath Keith Hill and they have picked up two points from their last three league matches, including Oxford and Sunderland to 0-0 and 1-1 draws, respectively. Their last League One outing caused a narrow 1-0 loss off at Portsmouth, even though they held Rochdale from the Leasing.com Trophy on Tuesday.
Blackpool led the division but they were brought by consecutive defeats at the beginning of September to Coventry and MK Dons down a notch. Simon Graysons guys have bounced back at the last few games. They drew 1-1 away to Accrington overcome at Doncaster 1-0 at the Keepmoat Stadium and scored two inside the first 25 minutes in a 2-1 win at home.
Bolton manager Keith Hill: TBC
Blackpool boss Simon Grayson:At least we now know what employees theyve obtained and what they have been playing lately. Theyve had some good results with the wider and greater squad in the last few weeks theyve got.
I stated a couple of weeks ago its a strange position to be in where several clubs will be moaning its a guaranteed three factors in the first portion of the season. But other teams the floor will probably be saying they are happy because it gives them a fighting chance to remain in the branch with Bolton not picking up things.
They stay without a win and also are 18 points from security as it stands, but Boltons newly-assembled squad is starting to gel. Gone are such early season thumpings in the palms of Rotherham, Ipswich, Gillingham and Tranmere; under Keith Hill, theres a new-found solidity at the back, using three goals conceded in their final four at all contests.
There could be lots for Wanderers fans. The threat of relegation is a fact but a result than shedding the club as a whole, as was this summer more digestible. Then again, stranger things have happened…
Bolton are unbeaten in their last 12 home games in all competitions from Blackpool (W8 D4), scoring in every encounter and maintaining seven blank sheets.
Seven of the previous nine league matches involving Bolton and Blackpool have ended amount, with both sides.
Bolton are winless in their last 16 league matches (D3 L13)and they continue went to a longer streak without victory in December 2015 (17).
Blackpool have lost just one of the past six league off excursions (W2 D3), and also are unbeaten in their past two.
Four to Blackpool of Armand Gnanduillets five league goals happen to be this year; the most of any player in the branch.
Bolton might never have won a game this year, but their three League One fittings have been extremely tough and they are not getting hammered by five or six , in order they are on the right path.
Blackpool are back on the up, having picked up seven points in their last three games. I think theyll be the winners on Monday night.
David Prutton predicts: 1-2 (15/2 with Sky Bet)
