Bolton confront Blackpool in Sky Bet League One on Monday, live on Sky Sports Football.
New registering Joseph Dodoo can make his debut for Bolton in their League One clash with Blackpool. Even the 24-year-old striker, who spent last year at Blackpool on loan, was a free agent after his deal with Rangers expired and hes signed a deal.
Daryl Murphy suffered no adverse response so might be included again and made his debut against Portsmouth last weekend. Jake Wright (hamstring) and Chris OGrady (knee) will be assessed.
Blackpool are waiting to see if Joe Nuttall, Sullay Kaikai along with Nathan Delfouneso will be matched. All three are being closely monitored, and boss Simon Grayson is hoping the match being put back to Monday might allow at least one of the trio to be contained.
The Seasiders will be without Jordan Thompson who is on international duty with Northern Ireland. The club did put to join his nation but it was turned down.
Winless Boltons results are starting to pick up beneath Keith Hill and theyve picked up two points from their last three league games, holding Oxford and Sunderland into 0-0 and 1-1 draws. Their past League One outing led to a narrow 1-0 loss away at Portsmouth, even though they held Rochdale at the Leasing.com Trophy on Tuesday.
Blackpool led the division in the initial weeks of this season, but successive defeats to Coventry and MK Dons in the beginning of September attracted them down a notch. Simon Graysons men have bounced back in the past few games. They drew 1-1 away to Accrington, overcome Doncaster 1-0 in the Keepmoat Stadium and scored two inside the first 25 minutes in a 2-1 win at home.
Bolton manager Keith Hill: TBC
Blackpool manager Simon Grayson:At least we now know what personnel they have got and what theyve been playing recently. They have had some great effects together with the more powerful and greater squad in the past couple of weeks theyve got.
I stated a couple weeks ago its a strange place to be in where a few clubs will probably be moaning it has a guaranteed three points at the early portion of the season. But other teams down the floor will be saying they are happy because it gives them more of a fighting chance to stay in the division with Bolton not picking up points.
As it stands they so are 18 points from safety and also stay without a win, but Bolton team is starting to gel. Gone are such early season thumpings at the hands of Ipswich Tranmere, Gillingham and Rotherham; beneath Keith Hill, there is a new-found solidity in the back, with just three goals conceded in their final four at all contests.
There could be lots for Wanderers fans. The danger of relegation is a fact but a result more readable than shedding the bar as a whole, as was this summer. Then again, stranger things have happened…
Bolton are unbeaten in their last 12 home matches in all competitions against Blackpool (W8 D4), scoring in each experience and maintaining seven blank sheets.
Seven of the previous nine league matches involving Bolton and Blackpool have ended flat, with both sides.
Bolton are winless in their last 16 league matches (D3 L13)and they continue went to a longer streak without victory in December 2015 (17).
Blackpool have dropped just one of their last six league off trips (W2 D3), and also are unbeaten in their past two.
Four of the five league goals of Armand Gnanduillet for Blackpool are headers this season; the most of any participant in the division.
Bolton might never have won a game yet this season, but their three League One fittings have been extremely demanding and they arent getting hammered by five or five , so at least they are on the perfect path.
Blackpool are back on the up, having chosen seven points from their past 3 games. I think theyll be the winners on Monday night.
David Prutton predicts: 1-2 (15/2 with Sky Bet)
