Michael van Gerwen and Dave Chisnall through to Grand Prix final

Michael van Gerwen will face Dave Chisnall at the closing of the World Grand Prix and after dominant victories were secured by both players on Friday night in Dublin.
The reigning champion was too strong for Chris Dobey, since the Englishman was picked by him from some style, and it appeared like he had another equipment in book.
Earlier in the evening, Chisnall ended the debut conduct of Glen Durrant, as Chizzy qualified for his first major final since 2016.
The world claim that his crown from the process, and No 1 remains on course to effectively defend the Grand Prix name for the very first period.
Mighty Mike turned right with minimal fuss into a 1-0 lead, before a reply was mustered by Dobey. The 2019 Premier League contender created a 2-0 lead since he looked to degree affairs.
MvG was not likely to give him a sniff. The Dutchman reeled his competitor right in, and broke his soul by carrying the group 3-2, in the leg thanks to some 156 checkout.
From that point, it turned out to be a mere gimmick. MvG was working at a greater degree, and always looked in control, breaking throw in the group decider.
The last set was a romp, since the Dutchman sealed his final berth in fashion, finishing with an average of 91.41.
With this type, it is hard to create a case for virtually any situation that doesnt culminate in another name for MvG on Saturday night.
Following a dominant 4-1 triumph over Glen Durrant at Citywest, dave Chisnall is to his PDC final.
The 2013 Grand Prix runner-up was full value for his victory, pulling away the prior BDO kingpin came roaring back into contention.
It had been Chizzy who burst hitting at a 90 moderate to take the group. After Duzza overlooked two darts to get a break of throw in the first leg of their game, Chisnall pushed to the very first set, and then subsequently pounced.
Durrant had to repay, and like he did against Krzysztof Ratajski and Jermaine Wattimena this week, he shook off early cobwebs to storm back into the competition. Holding throw at the first leg of the second set, he broke Chizzy with a 154 checkout, prior to sealing the next in fashion.
The Lakeside champ continued his hot-streak, using a break for a 1-0 lead. Chizzy wanted something to break his opponents momentum as Duzza jumped forward – along with a 170 end did the trick.
In truth, the fish has been the turning point from the game. The Premier League star took the third in a leg, and propelled himself back to the lead.
From that point, he didnt return. Chizzy was aided by A 140 checkout into the group. Even with a fightback from the fifth from Duzza, it was not enough.
As a foe lies in his manner chisnall is only one step away from his major title that is PDC. The Englishman toppled at the finals of the Masters and Players Championship Finals at 2016 – Chizzy will be hoping its a case of third time lucky.
Coverage of the World Grand Prix concludes on Saturday with the ultimate live on Sky Sports Main along with Sky Sports Action Event from 8pm.
